LANRE JODA
PLJ as he is fondly called is a Media and Business Application and Media Skills graduate from Birkbeck College, University of London and Kingston University London respectively, a Media consultant and the CEO of Quikk Media. Birbeck College published his achievements in one of their journals. He also has Advance Diploma in Pastoral Theology from Middlesex University.
He was ordained a pastor in 2006. He has been pastoring RCCG Praise City since its inception in 2010. His teachings are built around his passion for servant leadership and entrepreneurship. He is an addicted believer that “with God all things are possible”. He preaches possibilities everywhere he goes. He is the author of “It is Possible”. He is the host of Possibilities Conference, an annual faith-based conference.
He is married to Bunmi. They have two sons. PLJ’s interests include blogging, current affairs and reading; he is also a supporter of Chelsea football club.
BUNMI JODA
Bunmi holds a degree in Education Studies. She also obtained an Early Years Professional Status from the University of Greenwich. She was ordained as a Deaconess in 2013. Her involvement in Praise City dates back to January 2010 when the parish started. She has also functioned in a variety of roles including co-ordinating ministries within the church and leading different departments such as children church, Sunday School and Daughters of Zion.
She is passionate in making sure children achieve their potentials. She is also an encourager and has a very good sense of humour. She is married to Lanre Joda and both of them are blessed with two boys.
AKANBI OLUWOLE ODEWALE
Akanbi Oluwole Odewale got born again and baptised in the Holy Spirit 25 years ago. He has since then held different roles ranging from under shepherd in secondary school, house fellowship leader, fellowship main executive in the university and NCCF local government coordinator during NYSC. He has a BSc and MSc at the University of Ibadan and currently works as a specialist in the health sector. He attended Rhema Bible College. Oluwole is married with three lovely children.
CHRISTY OLADELE
Christy is a dedicated practicing nurse. She works as a Care Home Manager in a in a reputable care home in London. Christy has been able to transfer the skills from her career into church where she manages the Welfare and Care Ministry. As one of the ministers in the church, she supports the pastor in the work of the ministry. As a role model and mother of three wonderful adults, 2 of them holding leadership roles in the church. Christy is grateful to God for his faithfulness in her life and in the journey of faith.
JULIUS ATANDA
Julius Atanda has devoted his life to God’s Service and Kingdom. He currently serves in the Ushering Department, as well as the follow up and Reception Department. He has a degree in Banking and Finance and currently works in the construction industry and also as a phlebotomist in the health care sector. He is happily married and currently has two children.
ADEDOYIN ODEWALE
Adedoyin Odewale is a born again believer who was baptised in the Holy Spirit as a student in the University of Ibadan where she was a Class Representative and Vice President of her Faculty Christian Association.
Adedoyin currently works as a Specialist in Finance Services and actively with Children and the Prayer team in Praise City. She is married with 3 lovely Children.
ABIOLA OLATUNDE
Abiola Olatunde has devoted his life to Christ since 1995. He is a committed intercessor and a Bible teacher. He served and led in many Christian organisations.
He holds Masters in Transformation: Bible, Church and Society from the University of Middlesex.
He is married to Oluwanishola and blessed with two children.
